Meet Simona

Simona did not enter home care from a clinical background.

Her path began with a belief.

Her grandfather lived to 98 years old.

Not only did he live long, he lived fully.

He remained active, engaged, and independent well into his later years. Even when he had access to a car and a driver, he chose to walk. The driver would follow alongside him, because for him, independence was not something to give up

He continued working as a business consultant, solving problems and staying mentally engaged. In his final years, he was still writing, completing a book about the Holocaust that his family would later publish.

At home, he lived on his own. While he had light support, he did not stop participating in life. When something became difficult, he looked for solutions. If his body needed support, he found tools to help him keep going.

He did not give up his independence. He adapted to protect it.

The Perspective It Created

That experience shaped how Simona sees aging. She saw firsthand that growing older does not mean stepping away from life. It means continuing to live, with the right support in place.
